Gomstapur Upazila Accounts Office has been brought under IBAS++ software of Finance Department of Ministry of Finance. By establishing a direct online connection with Bangladesh Bank/Sonali Bank, the work of online bank advice sending, check release and check reconciliation has been facilitated.The average waiting time on the side has been reduced. The salaries and allowances of government officials at the main accounting office level have been paid directly to the bank through Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) method.
In the meantime, On Line Pay Fixation and Pension Fixation has been successfully completed for government employees and pensioners across the country. Online LPC is being done
